Cameron Martin '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is cameron martin and I am a student athlete who lives and thrives off of getting better on and off the field the right way in order to succeed in life. My collegiate goals and aspirations is to make my mother proud of me as I walk across that stage to receive my undergraduate degree and to become a better man at heart so that I can live my life with no regrets and be happy with the choices I have made. What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I am a hard working,competitive, and confident in my ability to be a great team player. What makes me different from other recruits in character is not how I play the game but what I bring to the game such as my ability to persevere. For example throughout most of my academic career i’ve endured struggles but I stayed encouraged and never gave up and managed to succeed in the end.  As this pertains to football the same concept does apply because I had to work very hard to reach my full potential and never giving up even when others tried to discourage me. It’s important to learn to look within and validate yourself.
