I feel I would be a great college player because of the environment I am surrounded by in my football program. My head coach is a former college coach who has mentally prepared me to be a college player. Individually I feel no other sport compares to football. You must be intelligent and aggressive but most importantly compatible with your teammates. I love the feeling of physically dominating someone to protect my quarterback. I feel what makes me stand out is ability to learn quickly and my football IQ. Lifting weights is a passion of mine. My goal is to get better as a player and a teammate as I continue my high school career. Our team made it to the play offs last year but we came in 3rd over all. As a dedicated player I have set goals for my self to get bigger, stronger and faster in the off season.
I push my self just as hard as a student as I do as a athlete. I know that learning to be able to survive in the real world on my own is a very important task, and one that I take very serious. I have always been told the world will not hand you anything, if you want it you must work hard for it and go after it. This is how I look at being both a student and an athlete and I know that one day it will pay off.
