I have always loved football and baseball. My dad started throwing balls with me when I was a toddler. I started baseball, playing tee ball, when I was four and have been playing in the city spring and summer baseball leagues since then. I began playing tackle football in the city leagues when I was six years old. I have played city league tackle football every year except for 2014 when I couldn't make the weight limit.
I enjoy playing football because it combines strategy and strength and requires teamwork. I have been blessed with a strong body and have started lifting weights in this my freshman year of high school. I lift weights both at school and at home and now that weight lifting is part of my physical routine I expect to keep getting stronger. My dad encourages me to work out regularly.
Going to live college football games is a great learning tool so I go to a lot of football games near my home. I am lucky to have four very good ACC colleges nearby, being NC State, UNC Chapel Hill, Duke, and Wake Forest. My goal is to play college football at a college or university that will afford me the opportunity to get a good education. My dream is to play college football at a level that will get me drafted to play NFL professional football.
