I am a three sport athlete, but football has always been my favorite. My love of football started in Kindergarten when I joined a flag football team and grew even more when I started playing tackle as a third grader. I am still playing with some of those same teammates. Early morning lifts and long days at camps have made us a very tight knit group and that is part of what I love about football.
Versatility has always been a strength of mine. I am able to play every position on the offensive and defensive lines. I will be starting at left guard this year, but will play center for the first two games due to an injury sustained by our starting center.
I have also seen success in track and field. I placed 9th in the state track meet this year throwing the shotput 50'2" as a junior. My goal is to place in the top three for shotput this year, and to be throwing discus at the state meet as well.
Academics have always been a priority for me. Honors classes and tech ed classes have always been a part of my school day. I plan on majoring in mechanical engineering or business. Right now I’m taking dual credit pre calc to get a head start on my credits.
