I was selected as the Outstanding male student of my class (based on my leadership, service and academics) as I left the middle school, entering my freshman year at West Branch High School. I was then honored to be the first and only freshman lineman to ever earn a letter on a Warrior varsity football team; this has been the greatest experience in my football career thus far. The coaches and upper class men of the team quickly showed me the commitment and hard work required to be successful for the Warrior Team. Their influence encouraged me to step up as a leader both on and off the field. I have been selected by my coach and guidance counselor to attend a state leadership seminar at Youngstown State University this year and I am honored to represent my school. My experience and dedication in the weight room has also played a major role in my accomplishments on the football field; I have been in a strength training program with a trainer since I was eleven years old. I believe I have the persistence, passion, and leadership capabilities to represent my team well and I hope to use this motivation for my future success both on and off the field.
