Zoe Sanders '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I'm Zoe, a Senior at West Branch High School in Beloit, Ohio, with a 3.48 GPA. I have a deep passion for competing and sports, being actively involved in Soccer, Volleyball, and Track. Throughout my high school years, I've been fortunate to excel in various events, including qualifying for the state in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays for Track in 2022 and 4x200 in 2023. Additionally, I have a strong background in Volleyball, having played at the USVA Nationals, where our team secured 7th place in 2022 in the nation.

As much as I love all these sports, Soccer has always held a special place in my heart since the second grade. In high school, I faced a challenging decision on which sport to pursue fully, and I chose Soccer. However, I continued to play Volleyball during the off-season and dedicated time to improve my track skills.

My Soccer journey took an unexpected turn during my sophomore year when our Keeper got injured. Without hesitation, I stepped into the goalie position, even though I had no prior experience. I ended up playing 10 games that season and achieved a remarkable 9-1 record, reaching the district finals. In my Junior year, I predominantly played in the goal box and contributed to our team's historic 15-1-2 record, earning our school's first district title.

Throughout my sports career, I've been fortunate to play with the FC Evolution soccer team under Coach Brian Stiles. Coach Stiles encouraged me to be a multi-positional player, allowing me to explore various roles on the field. I am currently playing under Coach Mickey Mcneil from Mid-City Lions out of Atlanta Ga for the 2024 season.

As I prepare to take my talents to college, I am committed to continuously improving, regardless of my position. I'm open to opportunities at colleges within a 12-hour radius of Ohio and across all divisions.
