Gage Cheadle '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gage Cheadle and I am a sophomore at Southeastern High School in Chillicothe, Ohio. I take both academics and sports seriously. Academically I maintain a 4.0 grade point average and in football I was selected to be team captain. My sophomore year I achieved an award for tying the schools record for receptions in a single game (14), breaking the schools record for receptions in a season (61) and the 2023 MVP award. I also made First-Team All-SVC,  First-Team All-District and Honorable Mention All Ohio my sophomore year.

My freshman year, I received my varsity letter. In the eighth grade, I was awarded Offensive Player of the Year and selected to be  a member of the Panther Football Leadership Council. 

I am looking to take my football experience to the collegiate level and possibly beyond.  I have a hard work ethic. By working with my coaches and fellow teammates, I have learned to work well with others in a group as it is necessary to cooperate with teammates on the field. I have an understanding that football is a team sport and strive to be a strong leader who motivates others. 

I always push myself to do better, even when I think I am doing my best, because I believe it is necessary to risk failure in order to gain success.
