Personal Statement
I love everything about football. The heat, the training, the coaching, the lifting, the contact and being a part of a team that must work together to succeed. Even though I am only in the 10th grade, I have been told that I have potential to play at the next high level. I am currently starting on the DL as a sophomore for the defending state champs, and current #10 team in the country St. Xavier (Cincinnati). My role is to take on 2 and 3 blocks, free up our linebackers and still get penetration. I had 2 sacks and a number of tackles in our season opener against the #2 team in the state of Ohio. I take on double and triple teams 80% of the game and I have a sack in every game through 5 weeks. After the football season I will play basketball for St. X and following that I will play baseball for St. X, hopefully in the starting Varsity pitcher rotation. I also swim for the Cincinnati Marlins and I have 13 summer club records. But, my main drive is to do the preparation to be able to play football in college, as well as earn a pre-med degree (anatomy).
