Participation in organized sports for the last eleven years prepared me to lead the defense of two undefeated school football teams in 8th and 9th grade.  However, it took a challenging season my sophomore year to learn the true value of leadership, character and teamwork.  Failure has impacted my work-ethic and instilled a determination for excellence on the field and in the classroom.  In my early years, the Commissioner of our city league praised my intensity, and “head for the football”.  Recent success includes captain, leading tackler and three-time Top Gun nomination at Football University.  From the most recent Top-Gun camp I was elected to participate in the US Army All-American Combine this past January in San Antonio where I placed in the top 25% among HS juniors.
I seek a college program with challenging academics and a football program based in the same pursuit of excellence that has helped me succeed in my student-athlete endeavors.  My passion for winning and strong belief in a self-less pursuit to improve enables me to make an immediate impact on your program.  As a dual-sport athlete seeking leadership opportunities, I am confident I can contribute to the success of your team.
