As a junior I have been working towards deciding my future. Through football I learned leadership, as a freshman quarterback I made my mark as a great leader despite being inexperienced. My team trusted me to lead them to a playoff appearance. As a three year starter, multi-sport athlete, scholar, and CCP (college credit plus) student through Ohio University; be academically successful is a standard I hold my self accountable to.
I have faced many challenges as a student athlete; a couple that come to mind are playing 2 age groups up and travel baseball and playing at a public school that I didn’t attend because my private school did not offer football. These types of scenarios helped me to develop relationships, grit and a drive to work hard and develop.
Recently, I’ve enrolled in aviation school to learn how to become a helicopter pilot. This has brought on a new set of goals, challenges and learnings that I am happily moving towards a conquering.
