Erik Rogers '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello!  My name is Erik Rogers and I am a Junior at Dayton Christian High School.  At Dayton Christian, I have placed a priority on achieving my academic goals while seeking success in multiple sports.  I am a resilient and discipline person due to growing up in a military family where my father deployedfrequently and I was required to step up and do more in the household.  I have been fortunate to receive a challenging first-class education at Dayton Christian Schools where I am required to earn success through hard work and discipline.  I am a strong student having achieved the honor roll on a few occasions and maintain over a 3.0 GPA.  I have been selected for one honors program in history and plan to take College Couse Preparatory(CCP) my senior year.  

I have played football for over 12 years, with the opportunity to play every position on the offensive and defensive line along with special teams.  I always put the team’s needs first and embrace any opportunity that I have earned.  I have played on the varsity football team for three years, while starting as a sophomore and junior.  In numerus games, I have started and played the majority of the game on offense, defense, and special teams. During my junior year, I had the privilege of starting in the Ohio State High School Playoffs.  I have also lettered in Wrestling and received specialized training at a local sports preparatory program. 

I am looking for a college that will assist me in growing my faith along with providing a first-class education. Also, a program that will help me continue building my character, strengthen my leadership traits and affording me the opportunity to play football.  My goal is to receive a degree in business management or related program that prepares me for a successful career, while contributing to the football program in any way I can.
