Alex Phelps '24 Recruiting Profile

I want my teammates to know I have their backs and they can count on me to be there for them on and off the field.  My goal for collegiate athletics is to earn the right to play at the next level with a team that allows me to grow as a student, athlete and as a persson.  Winning is also important to me; I want to be surrounded by winners on and off the field.  From the coaches mentoring me to the professors teaching me, I want them to be the best of the best.  

In High School I have been a leader on and off the field and I want to be in an environment that challenges me while allowing me to lead through hard work and results.  I think after I finish my Senior Football Season in 2023, and get ready to graduate in 2024, I want my teammates to know I made us better.  I also love all aspects of the game.  I get excited to go to the gym to workout, I love learning how to analyze film, and then finding ways to implement my skills in ways that will help our team win.  

Outside of football, I play basketball which allows me to continue to compete throughout the year, and also gives me the opportunity to improve my speed and agility. While competing with my teammates it allows me to represent my school in a different aspect of athletics and continue to better myself as an athlete and teammate. 

In the spring my plan is to attend 100% of the offseason workouts offered by our football team, then supplement these with my off day workouts at a private gym with a personal training that can help me gain weight and speed at the same time. I will be attending various camps that will allow me to represent myself and compete with other athletes like myself.
