My interest in football has always been around. My father along with all of his brothers and cousins played football in high school. My father did well enough to get a few scholarships to play at the next level and was a captain at Fordham University. Growing up in a football household it was only right that he pursued his goals just as I am looking to do now. I have a brother who is currently playing at the college level at the University of Minnesota who has set a great example of how to be a great student and athlete. There have always been curveballs life throws at me but by living the life I do, I feel like i can use football to set my own path and crete my own story.
Through playing football I have realized that my strong suit is my ability to adapt to the needs of the team. Alike my brother who went from receiver, to tight end, to lineman I have already changed positions many times. I started my career as a running back and have moved from there to a corner, then inside to a linebacker position and am now looking at playing strong safety for my upcoming season. I have done well in school so far and wish to continue to earn a major in business finance in college.
