Payton Brant '25 Recruiting Profile

From a young age I have had a desire to be the best I can be in everything I do. My strong Mohawk upbringing has taught me that community is everything and that is how I treat every team I am on. My team is my community, we fail together and we succeed together. Through hard work and dedication, I know I will be a great addition to any family (team). 

I was always nervous starting a new sport, because I knew I was not the best, but I always buckle down and become the best I can be.  With football, a sport that truly has my heart. My late great uncle was suppose to play for a CFL team, but a week before training camp he was in a accident that permanently damaged his knees.

I was diagnosed at a young age with ADHD. I have a IEP in school, I still strive to get the best grades I can. I know that nothing in life is free, and I never expect a hand out.  Sometimes a little hand up is all I need to complete the difficult tasks. I am currently undecided on my major but I am between Digital Media and Business Management.
