Personal Statement

As a graduate transfer pursuing a Master’s Degree, I’m looking to make an immediate impact on my new program in the most positive way. On the field, in the locker room, and in the classroom, I’m looking to be the go-to guy for anything my team needs to be successful. I wish to build up our program’s culture and everyone around me to the best of my abilities. I have spent the last four years at Olivet College taking in everything I could about college football and the college experience, listening, learning, and becoming the best leader and teammate that I can be. I was the first overall draft pick in our off-season leadership program three years in a row to lead my team academically, athletically, and through what we called the Extra Mile. I lived on the Extra Mile my entire time at Olivet College, doing anything and everything it takes to be successful and to win each and every day; and now it is time that I do the same for you.

With two years of athletic eligibility, I have the experience and leadership needed to take your program to the next level, and the coachability to become the best player and teammate possible. If you are looking for someone to lead on and off the field, to outwork his opponents, and to represent your school with honor, integrity, and passion, I will make you proud.

“Chad is the most vocal positive leader that I have been around… he is “that” leader for not only our football team, but for our college as well. As a student-athlete from Canada, he has fully committed to being “all in” as a college community member. He is the model citizen, teammate, and leader.” - Dan Musielewicz, Head Football Coach, Olivet College
