Will Hissong '09 Recruiting Profile

Hey Coaches, My name is Will Hissong, I just finished my sophomore season at College of the Redwoods in Eureka, CA. I'm 6'1" foot 220 lbs. In the 2013 season I threw for 3429 yards along with 34 passing touchdowns. With these stats I was able to break 16 school records. I was the starting quarterback for my high school team for 3 years and we competed in the state playoffs 2 of those years. I see myself as a pretty good leader. I love the quarterback position because everything runs through you, and I also love the pressure of being a quarterback and being able to take over a game and lead my team to victory.During my two years at College of the Redwoods I was selected 1st-Team Bay Valley Conference  twice and we won a conference championship in my first year. I am open to any schools that are willing to give me a look, I have always wanted to play at a university and I am willing to work hard to achieve my goal. I have had my ups and downs, I was academically ineligible following my first year. I now have a 3.31 GPA  and I will be earning my AAOT after the winter semester. I have 2 years of eligibility left along with a red shirt year. I would hope to earn a scholarship and continue playing football at a higher level.
