Garrett Williams '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Garrett Williams and I have played football now for nine years. Since the very beginning I have played the position of center and am very proud of that. I have never missed a game due to injury nor a practice. My scholastic career I have always taken very serious also (this was also due to parents pushing also) maintaining high grades throughout. My senior season I was recognized as All- State Honorable mention center, All-League first team center and second team defense. Attending a football camp in Mountain Home, Idaho I was recognized for Best Offensive player which made me very proud of the work that I had put in over the summer, attending other camps at Oregon State and Boise State. I take football very serious and put in the time to make myself better for the team, for football is a team sport and requires team players not individuals. During the off season you can find me in the weight room where I am trying to improve, I have put on considerable size since my freshman year of 5�??6�?? and 150#s to the size I am today 6�??1�?? and 250#s. My teammates call me �??G�?? and they rely on me considerably for I was the only four year starter. This past season I not only called the plays defensively, but I also called the plays on offense for that was the trust I had earned from the coaches. I would really like to further my career playing football and receive an education. I would like to remain on the west side of the United States but would consider playing anywhere if my finances would allow. I am very interested in receiving a degree in Kinesiology for I do enjoy the aspect of the weight training field. In closing I would very much like the opportunity to be able to play football at the next level and would appreciate any consideration. I am willing to put in the time and above all represent which ever institution gives me a chance to my fullest.
