Personal Statement


I am a 6'2 325 offensive guard from Brockway, Pa. I have started on the varsity team since I was a freshman. I was recognized as an All-Star both in my AML conference and by my local newspaper the past 3 seasons. I have a 3.5 GPA and enjoy being active in my schools FFA program and I have been playing on my high school baseball team. I am looking for a university or college that will allow me to pursue my interests in engineering, mathematics or agriculture and allow me to continue playing the game I love. I have grown up in a farming community and know the value of hard work and determination. My high school coaches have always said that I am very coachable and a fast learner. I have played in a spread offense my entire varsity career and know how to pass protect. I also led our team with 30 pancakes this past season, so I love to run block as well. I feel that I have the potential to play at any level and I am looking for an opportunity to prove myself.
