Kameryn Alex '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kameryn (“Kam”) Alex. I am going into my Senior year and a third year starter at Downingtown West High School in Downingtown, PA.  I am a versatile player starting on offense, defense and special teams. My sophomore year I started as a slot reciever and strong safety. This year, I led my team for sacks and tackles as a middle linebacker, and I split reps at halfback. My senior year, I will be starting at running back and middle linebacker. 

I work hard day in and day out in the classroom, on the field and for my community. If I fail at something - I get up, make adjustments and come back stronger. On the field, I am a great leader for my teammates. I make sure I encourage the same mentality I have by starting and finishing everything at 100%. I love and respect my coaches for the time and energy they devote to helping my team and I achieve our dreams of being the best student-athletes we can be.

I am a multi-sport athlete. I have played many sports such as track, basketball, lacrosse and, cross country. I typically run track in the Spring; however, this upcoming year I am planning on returning to the Lacrosse field. 

Off the field, I like to show my personality by making others happy and comfortable around me. I am also a great listener; I make sure you know I’m listening. In addition, I volunteer for my community events, school events and disaster relief needs.  

My goal for next year must is to show I am a great student, talented football player and that I am able to play at the next level. I will work hard to make sure I show you why I’d be an asset to your school and team.
