My name is Justin Weldon. I'm a senior attending Easton Area High School. Football has always been a big part of my life and my community. I'm excited and I am looking forward to playing football at the collegiate level. I started playing football since I was 6 years old (Junior Pee Wee) and fell in love with the sport. I have always been a competitor in almost everything I've done, and have strived to be the best. As I got older I learned to use the same competitive nature of my adolescents to become a better person overall, and be an example to my peers. I'm currently one of the leaders of FCA ( Fellowship Christian Athlete) club at my school, and also organized a community service club for athletes at Easton Area High School. My immediate goal at this point is to be accepted into a college that will offer a great education and football opportunity. My goal is to major in psychology with aspirations to become a drugs and alcohol psychiatrist. I have a great desire to help people. There are several reasons I feel being a psychiatrist will help. As a Prison Warden, my dad has instilled in me the importance of being drug free throughout my life. He has given me examples of talented people that failed because of drug abuse. I believe I can make a strong impact in saving people in this situation, and making the community safe. In addition, I can be that leader of a team to ensure talented teammates stay on track. Coming from a town where football is a big part of its culture, the community tend to keep up with the past alumni with a lot success. I plan to be one. I am a hardworking leader, and playing football at a collegiate level is the first step towards making my family, friends, and the community proud.
