Over the years, my parents and coaches taught me that it's not all about winning. It's more like fighting for your brothers. Although I was never fortunate enough to play in a playoff game, I know my coaches can push my team and me to that level. Even though freshman and sophomore year wasn't the best, we as a team still got better. My junior year, I personally helped players get in the right right mind set, help players up after a bad play, and to never give up. We are growing as a team and I’m excited to see what my senior year is going to hold. The most important thing I learned all year is to always stay humble. I know with all the hard work I'm putting in, I can make my parents proud for what I can do at the next level of football.
It's every football players dream to play in a stadium on a Saturday night with your teammates with over 70,000 people watching. I just want to go out on a field and make my parents and coaches all proud. I want to show them how thankful I was for them.
It all starts with education. No education, no football. Education is the number 1 thing for all athletes. If I can't play football at a pro level at least I know I have a great education to fall back on.
