Alexander Potts '18 Recruiting Profile

Currently I am a sophomore in high school. My goal, ever since I was little, was to play football in college and get a great education. This year was my first year playing on the varsity level in football.  Last year I was on the freshmen team. This year I was one of two sophomores that had the chance to play varsity football, but I was the only Sophomore that started. I played first team for receiver, starting kicker, and started corner or safety every game. I did whatever the coached asked me to do, and whatever was needed to help the team. When this season came to an end, I was top 3 on the team for tackles, and also say that I had played to the best I could. This is what I feel makes me different than most. I have a drive not like most, and I am willing to do whatever is needed. My academics do come first though, it has been like that since I started playing sports. I have a rule for myself, if any grade is below an A, I have to do whatever is possible to make it an A.
