Christopher Welde '15 Recruiting Profile

Hard work, discipline, and critical thinking enable me to be successful as a student athlete. I am an honor student who earns high grades through hard work and commitment. This same dedication can be seen on the football field.  I have the gift of speed, and I never take it for granted. I am always working to nurture and improve it. I am fortunate to multi-sport and learn that through discipline I can achieve many things. For my high school football team, I have the pleasure of playing offense and defense. I make the commitment to apply myself fully to my teammates and coaches. Playing multiple positions require making quick critical evaluations.  I make instant decisions on the field with confidence.  I feel my hard work in the classroom translates to the field.  I am constantly learning and growing as a student and an athlete.

I aspire to attend college as a student athlete and continue to play the game that I love. I recognize my success is contingent upon my willingness to put in the hard work and perseverance necessary to excel. I look forward to the challenge.
