Since I started playing football at age 6, I knew that this is what I wanted to do. In addition to my love for the sport, I saw the opportunities it could provide; paying for college, and possibly a career as a professional football player, and being able to give back. I have just started my college search, and am looking for a school with either a Sports Medicine, Exercise Science, and/or Sports Management program. I think I make a good candidate for any team because I am coachable. I appreciate feedback that makes me a better player, and I don’t mind coming out of my comfort zone to try new things. I have always played multiple positions, and multiple levels (JV and Varsity in high school and little league), whatever the team needed. I think what sets me apart is that I believe that I am “battle-tested” on and off the field, and still standing. I have faced hard times in my personal, academic, and athletic life, and with patience and hard work, I’m still striving. Being the 5th of 7 children at home, and part of an even larger extended family, the concept of family, compassion and loyalty has played a major role in how I view my sports family.
