Mike Loftus '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mike Loftus, I'm a 6'4 220 pound Tight end from riverside high school in Taylor Pennsylvania. I was apart of the 2010 eastern state championship and PIAA Class A state runners up. I've grown up around football all my life and come from a football family. My father was offered many Divison 1 offers and my cousin received a scholarship to play at Princeton. I can't imagine not playing football after high school. My 40 time isn`t ideal but since it was one of my first times running it there can only be improvement. I have a desire to win that clearly stands out on the field. Football is an emotional game and while im on the field my emotions are on my sleeve but are also always in check. I know what it takes to win by being on a 14-2 team and know how to make a team better by pushing the starters as a 2nd team player. i would like to stay along the east coast and go as far out as Kentucky being that being close to my family is a factor unless it is an outstanding offer.
