Daniel Danilovitz '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Daniel Danilovitz. I am a sophomore at Riverside Junior/Senior High School in Taylor, PA. I run cross country and track. I am passionate about distance running and plan on continuing my cross country and track careers at the next level.

I started running competitively in the 5th Grade, running local 5k races. In my 7th grade year I was 3rd place in Jr. High 2A Districts. In freshman year I was top finisher in six of seven dual meets, placed second at our district meet, and place thirteenth in the PIAA state championship meet for Class A. I am also very honored to have received multiple accolades; being named a Lackawanna Conference Division III All Star and being selected for the 2020 All-Region Coaches Team selection and I repeated in 2021 as an All-Region Coaches Team selection. I am proud to say that this is a result of my hard work and perseverance. In 2020 I finished 13th overall in the boys 2A State meet, the highest finishing freshman at any classification and 11th at 2021 States.

I also work to excel in the classroom. I have maintained high honors throughout my entire high school career. I am enrolled in every honors class that is available, and I also take or have taken AP Human Geography, AP US History, AP Language Arts, and AP Biology. I always prioritize my studies above everything I do.

I believe that my hard-working and team-oriented attitude can be a great addition to your team.

I plan to study pre-med to pursue a career in dental/ orthodontic practices.
