Treston Clark-LaRue '12 Recruiting Profile

I come from a very small school. I had the chance as a freshman to transfer to a more noticeable Catholic school but I decided to stay in my home town for my mother. I work hard and have been a starter since my freshman year, which hasn't been done at my school in 30+ years.  Our system is very unusual due to the fact we run the Single Wing. We run the ball majority of the time so my receptions are low. This year with a new coach, we will be able to throw the ball more I believe. Defensively we run a 5-2 with the ends in a stand-up position, almost like a 3-4. I know my school doesnt give me much of a shot at playing D1 or D2 athletics but I know no matter what level I play at, I will give it my all. I would like to attend a college with great prestige and will be in the hunt for a championship every year. Once in my university, I would like to major in Pre-Medicine. Starting as a freshman would be a great honor but I'm willing to wait and mature as an athlete behind the older players. I know I am undersized and my intangibles seem poor but I believe my heart and determination lead me to be the great athlete I am today. I am willing to play anywhere on the field to make a difference for my team. For the university that accepts me, I will be a successful leader and a great aspect for that team.
