Hi my name is Dax Gibney, I’m a young athlete and football is my main passion. I play for multiple teams including my highschool team where I started on both offense and defense for the senior team. I also play for the Sask selects where I start at either halfback or corner. And I play for U16 South Sask Football where I’m starting at also halfback or corner. Ive Also been chosen to be apart of CFC Top 50 Youth Prospect Game in Ottawa.
In my spare time, I occupy myself with working out 6-7 days a week for up to 2 hours each day. And I’m always finding time to train specific football skills to make me a better player.
What I hope to accomplish with my football is to show the universities what I’m capable of and try and go as far as possible with my career. I understand it’s up to the coaches to choose their new recruits but if a coach gives me a chance, I am dedicated to bringing maximum effort and dedication to any opportunity given to me.
I would like to play division 1 or 2 or at a Canadian university, playing as long as is practical and using my football talents to assist with my post secondary education.
I enjoy participating in the football community very much wether it’s sideline or field, but I do also very much like the field. I always will listen to any advice or feedback given because I know that it will benefit me and improve on how I play. I’m always dedicated and will always give my all knowing that that’s the way to improve. I pride myself on being a great team person and show that by taking leadership and taking charge in what I do.
Thank you for considering me for your football program, I know you will not be disappointed.
