Many people call me "Bear", a nickname that I earned playing football. I am a quiet person. I understand the importance of active listening and believe that I lead by example. I'm a four year varsity starter. Over my my four years I have played every position on the offensive and defensive line. My junior and senior years I started both on offensive and defensive line. Playing over 100 plays a game. This earned me the Iron Man Award the past two years. I have earned Offensive Lineman of the year in 2013 and 2014, Defensive Lineman of the year in 2013, All State in 2012, All Region in 2012, 2013 and 2014. I've also been named Permanent Team Captain in 2013 and 2014 and All Area Academic in 2013 and 2014. I earned blocking award from Spartanburg Touchdown Club in 2012 and 2014. I received the "Wildcat Award" as a senior. This is the top award for my High School football team.
I do my job. I understand the responsibility of all players on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. This combined with my quick feet, good hands, and above average upper body strength makes me hard to handle on both sides of the ball.
My goal is to graduate from and play football for a Division I or competitive Division II college. I update my NCSA profile frequently. Blacksburg High School has game film available on hudl.com. And I have additional highlights posted on my YouTube channel. I also have 2 written coach references available.
