Charles Bissonnette '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Charles Bissonnette.  I participate exclusively in track and field (throwing) and it is my goal to carry that on and continue to throw at a great college. I am currently throwing (discus, shot put, hammer throw, and javelin) at Riverside High School in Greer, SC and through AAU and USATF during the summer.  I got into track watching my brother throw in his high school years and I aspired to be like him.  I aim to encourage people to do their best in our daily lives.  Learning how to be patient and putting in the hard work are the things that will get you to your goals and that is what I have learned in this sport, as well as every day life.  I have always been able do the necessary research so that I can resolve problems and fix things on my own and it is my goal to pursue that in a career.
