Dondre Brown '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'2", 230 lbs. running back/full back from Wade Hampton High School in Varnville, SC. I currently run a 4.7 but will participate extensively in track this season to improve my speed. I have been a Varsity starter for three years. I have been playing football since 2000 when I started little league. Having earned Little League MVP for 4 years I knew that I wanted football in my future collegiately and professionally. In 2008 I was awarded the HSSR (High School Sports Report) Freshman Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year by my school. During my freshman season I led the team in rushing with 1114 yards on 170 carries. My GPA is currently 3.71/5.0 scale. I am a member of National Society of High School Scholars and Beta Club. As a college player I can offer great leadership, good sportsmanship and serve as a role model for my teammates. I have the drive and determination to be an outstanding college player and to play at the highest competition level. I am looking to pursue a Business degree in Sports Management or related field at a 4 year university with a well-known academic and athletic reputation. Financial assistance is a very important need to me and my family due to these economic times therefore I will be applying for the FAFSA.
