First of all I will like to give honor to God, he is the head of my life and the one that blessed me with my talents, and I do not take anything for granted. I have a loving and supportive family that keeps me grounded. My wonderful mother Sonja Andrews and my hard nose and caring father Leonard Andrews are so focus on my education that sports is not at the top on my list of goals for them. First my relationship with God, my family and closest friends, my education, and sport rounds out the top five. My collegiate goals and aspirations are to be the best student athlete I can be. Work hard in practice and on the field and work even harder in the classroom to receive my degree. I am a well balance student athlete that focuses on make my team better with my presents. A leader on and off the field I have grown into a fearless and determined man ready to take on any challenge. I am different because I am not your average teenage, I don't party, never smoke, nor drink, and I have no desire to do so. I don't believe that those things make for excitement or fun life. Excitement is making that A or throwing the long ball for TD or running 53 yards for TD...that excitement. Winning at something you worked so hard to achieve is exciting. I am different because I want this...I want my college degree, my football scholarship, I want to play on a team that wants to win. See, all those other guys kind of want it...I eat sleep and breath this. I watch video of great QB's, workout, and practice every day to get better. Academically I am working to raise my GPA and preparing for the SAT/ACT, but long term I want to get my degree and coach one day and create programs that will help young kids reach their goals. This life I live is never about me, but about who can I reach with a positive word and who life can I help become better with the time I give. My goal is to succeed, I am a great fit for any school that promotes education first and nurtures my talent, and I am different from other recruits because I am Deshaw Andrews the only one created like me and greatness is what God has created.
