Personal Statement

I've always grown up around the game of football. My dad, being a head or assistant football coach for as long as I can remember, has been a large portion of the influence as to why I love the game of football. My goal in college is to find my desired career path and find  employment that I will enjoy, all while participating in the college environment. Being an athlete for many years, I realize that I am not the fastest or the strongest on the field at times. However, my understanding of the game and my well-rounded abilities separate myself from many other average high school athletes.  I personally believe that because I have been a four-year captain and the son of a high school principal, my character both on and off the field is excellent. My family, coaches, and community members have high expectations for me, and I work hard to exemplify those expectations and represent my school. I believe that I am a very good team player. Of course everyone wants the spotlight, but I am also okay with doing whatever is needed, if it benefits my development for the good of our team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
