Dewayne Merriweather '18 Recruiting Profile

    To Whom It May Concern, Hello my name is Dewayne Merriweather and I have a desire to play collegiate football. I would be a great asset to your program because I am experienced with playing both sides of the ball and special teams. I’m strong at outside linebacker because my speed allows me to defend the pass and stop the run. However, my strongest area is Running back. Due to my speed and size I have the ability to obtain positive yards and execute in the Red Zone.  I am also, gifted when it comes down to keeping the team encouraged and motivated at all times. Currently, I have above a 3.0 GPA. In addition, I am a motivated and responsible student who intends to be a lifelong learner. I plan to major in Broadcasting with an emphasis in communication. In the future, I have a desire to use my athletic experience to become a sports writer/analysis.
