Personal Statement
As a child of an Active duty Army Service member I have moved to different locations around the world most of my life. Relocating with my family to different continents has enabled me to play soccer in Europe, Africa, and the United States of America. I feel highly blessed that I am now located in the United States and can make the step toward a career in the American Collegiate Soccer scene. Academically, I am striving to achieve a degree in Business Entrepreneurship or International Business. My fusion of various cultures has enabled me to speak three languages: English, French, and Akan (The native language of my homeland, Ghana.) I was introduced to the sport of soccer at the mere age of 2 years old in Germany where I fully embraced the sport and its culture. I am currently 16 years old with 14 years of soccer experience. The sport has enabled me to mature into a leader amongst my peers and I continue to expand my soccer knowledge daily. My constant relocating to different parts of the world has limited my ability to establish a solid club profile; however, I know I have a lot to offer any admirable team. My ultimate goal after High School is to become part of a tight-knit collegiate family where my athletic and academic needs are met, allowing me to grow as an athlete, a student, and represent a school I’m proud to attend.
