Personal Statement

My name is Robert "Terrell" Blakesleay and I am a 2013 high school graduate. I am 5'8", 160 lbs., and gaining. I run a 4.57 in the 40 yard dash. I have a 4.0 GPA while taking some Honors classes. I have a 22 on the ACT in which I will be taking again and I look forward to raising that score even higher when I take it again real soon. I have played on the varsity football team for the last 3 years with 2 of them in the starting line up. I have earned numerous team awards with this last year earning All-region Honorable mention. This past year I have led my team in receptions, rushing yards, and provided strong coverage on defense to help my team win.

I can offer the school that I play for leadership on and off the field. On the gridiron I bring a winning attitude , tenacity, and drive to keep trying no matter what the odds are. At the end of the day I show that it was all left on the field and I gave it all no matter what the final score is. I also stand on the thought process you practice like you play. Currently I'm in the weight room, training and preparing for next season to be one of the best, not only on the field but the classroom as well.

I want to attend a college where I have to chance to compete and offers the major of criminal justice or pre-law. I have the desire to continue to keep playing on a higher level and become the best young man, best student, best player, and the best teamate that I can be.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
