JT Newton '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is JT Newton.  I am the quarterback for Bangs, Texas.  I have been playing football since I was in the second grade.  I love the game and would love the opportunity to continue playing at the next level.  I truly believe I have the skill set to be a division 1 student athlete. I was the starting quarterback my sophmore year and lead my team to the playoffs.  I received the district "Newcomer of the Year" award  and was also named All Big Country "Newcomer of the Year".  My junior year was a success as well.  I helped lead my team to the third round in the playoffs.  I received the district "Offensive MVP" award and was also name All Big Country "Offensive MVP".  I recently attended the Step It Up camp in Bedford, Texas where I was the only small school quarterback among many big school quarterbacks and received "Top Quarterback" award.
