Spencer Maxwell '19 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to attend a college with not only high athletic standards, but high academic standards as well.  I prefer a school that will challenge me with courses in architecture and building construction as well as business. I envision college to be a growth period as an athlete, a student and positive contributor to my college and surrounding community.  I hope to learn from my coaches, educators and fellow teammates to lead with honor and respect in order to be a great reflection of my school. On the field, I will strive to be an asset through my hard work, good influence and dynamic play. I believe my speed, quickness and vision in the open field can help my team succeed. I have played multiple positons from QB for 4 yrs to RB, WR and S which gives me a great understanding of the game and I can learn and excel wherever I am needed.   Being outstanding in these areas will take the dedication and effort that I am confident I have.  I have learned to have patience and be prepared when my opportunity  comes. Off the field, I have learned the value of volunteering through Young Men's Service League (YMSL) and will aim to continue that service to others at the college I attend. My commitment, upon graduating, is to know that I gave everything I had to my team, my school and to use knowledge gained to be a positive member of society.
