Hi my name is Jaden Ball. I am a junior at Shelton School in Dallas, TX. I have been playing football since 7th grade but even in the few short years I have been playing, I have developed the ability to play multiple positions at a high level. In order to aid my football ability, I have recently joined my school’s track team and compete in 100m, the 4X100, and the long jump.
During my years in elementary school, I struggled with school and in the 3rd grade I found out that I have Dyslexia. With the help of my family and the June Shelton School, I have excelled academically and was inducted into the National Honor Society in 2023. Over the past few years I have really learned that Dyslexia and football have one major thing in common: with hard work and determination, you can achieve your goals and overcome obstacles in front of you.
My dream is to play Division 1 football, and I believe I can be an asset to any team if I am given the opportunity. My coaches and teammates have referred to me as one of the most humble, respectful, and coachable athletes you will find. I will do whatever it takes to help my teammates and team.
