Personal Statement

My name is Sean Michael Sanchez-Belcher and, I attend Del Valle High school. I play football and run track. I have also had the opportunity to be a part of the computer class cyber security.  I work hard at maintaining my grades at  A & B level.  I believe that attendance is important because it shows that I can be dependable.  My strong suits are mathematics and science but enjoy all my classes.

Since I was in elementary, I've wanted to attend college  and play football and run track at the college level. I believe that I'm a coachable player and recognize when I've made a mistake and will ask for help or assistance when needed to become the best I can be. I'm also a team player and try to get along with everyone. I'm a positive person and willing to learn and take criticism. Playing football at the professional level is my ultimate dream.

I never loaf at practice, give 110% on and off the field, and I take every practice rep as a game rep because I feel like. If I don't then I will get to comfortable and give you less than what you expect. I watch my film over and over and focus on the mistakes I made in the game and will work on those mistakes so I don't repeat those same mistakes.

  • COLLEGE COACHES SHOWCASE CAMP | SAN ANTONIO, TX
  • 3/19/23 to 3/19/23
  • It's the best of both worlds. Players will showcase their skills to coaches but they will also learn from the coaches. Coaches want to evaluate players and their skills so they can teach them appropriately, just like they do with their own players. Feedback will be immediate, just like a college practice. Coaches also want to see how players react to new instruction, new techniques and how they socialize with peers and other coaches. Coaches will immediately inform players of any available metrics measured at camp. Players choosing to participate in the 7v7 Competition or Big Man Camp will be on the field with the college coaches showcasing their gametime skills in a controlled, but competitive environment. Being able to participate in evaluation and instructional settings is the best of both worlds for college coaches and prospective college football players. It’s what the coaches prefer and why the event is set up with both the evaluative and instructional environments included.
  • Camp/Event
  • College Prospect ID Showcase - Georgetown Texas
  • 1/15/23 to 1/15/23
  • This one-day event is designed by college coaches for high school athletes. College Football Prospect ID events are the first premier event following the 2022 high school and college football seasons. This is the first opportunity for college coaches and high school football players to interact directly with each other on the football field. The day is designed by college coaches in order to get the most out of everyone’s time. The college coaches will run the event measuring various metrics while also providing instruction to help identify players and their ability to respond to coaching. This event is designed for high school athletes. Seniors will soon have their signing period open and underclassmen will soon become the priority for the next recruiting class. It’s never too early for high school athletes to be on a coach’s radar. College Football Prospect ID Showcase events will feature three sessions, Offense, Defense/K/P/LS, and a Controlled Competition Session. This gives players the opportunity to pick the sessions that best fit their skills. Players wanting to showcase their versatility have the option to sign up for two or three sessions, at a discounted rate, to highlight several positions during the day. The Controlled Competition Session also allows players to showcase their skills in a simulated game atmosphere. All college coaches will attend each session. Coaches want to get the most out of their time and they don’t want to waste your time. Therefore, it is a very active day for both coaches and players. Players should be prepared for a lot of football and to have conversations with coaches.
