My name is Alfredo Giovanni Alvarado but everyone calls me Gio. I have been playing football for 10 years and I can't imagine my life without it. I started my Freshman year at 5'6 on the Developmental Team, thanks to a 6 inch growth spurt I stand now at 6'1. I worked my tail off to get a opportunity to start at the Varsity Level, and I did just that my Junior Year. My Senior Year was a stand out year i received 1st Team All-District, 2nd Team All-City, and Texas Elite All-Region 2nd Team. Over my high school career I have only progressed my football abilities and I plan to do so at the collegiate level. I was born in Midland,TX a small town where football is everything and you must perform every Friday night no matter what."Here in Texas, football isn't just a sport it's a Religion".
