Personal Statement
Starting as a little kid I had the habit of having a football under my arm to the point where it felt attached to me (I even used to sleep with one). My dad played football in college and was the one that created my love for the game and once it got started, I did not need any convincing to continue. The bonds created with football have to be my favorite part because it's like a second family that always has your back and holds you accountable for everything you do. I try to keep my teammates level headed and also hold them accountable for their work ethic or other things because you can always improve no matter what you are doing. Being a leader on the field and in the classroom comes with a lot of responsibility and it is something I have worked on my whole life. I try to be an example for my teammates or just other kids at my school. Being a follower of the crowd isn't something I know and I am not afraid to make mistakes as long as I am able to make up for them in the long run.
