Personal Statement
For as long as I can remember, I have always loved the game of baseball. I was first introduced by my dad who also played in college. He is definitely the most influential person in my life and has helped make me who I am today. I've learned that I am very dedicated to this sport and I want to work as hard as I can to become one of the best. Work ethic has always been a big part of baseball for me. Most of my "free time" is just more time that I can put into getting better as a baseball player. No matter how much time it takes out of my day, as long as I'm getting better at the game is all that matters. Some quotes that motivate me everyday are "Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard." and "Making dreams become reality".
Academically, I would like to graduate with a 3.5 or higher, and score high enough on my SAT/ACT to help me get admitted to whatever college I get the opportunity to play baseball at.
As a freshman, I made the varsity roster at Argyle High (Argyle, TX) that went undefeated 37-0, won STATE, and was ranked #1 in the nation. It was an incredible experience that helped strengthen me and my character.
We also won state my sophomore year and ranked #1 in the nation.
I have always thrived when put in uncomfortable situations and always step up when I am needed.
