Personal Statement
My name is Javorie Garrett, and I am a running back for Lufkin High School. I have played football since I was 8 years old and have not put the football down since. First, I was raised in a household led by a single mother as the oldest of two. Second, my family has had to struggle to make ends meet and that struggle has made me hungry to succeed.. Finally, I love the game of football. I have become a quick learner on and off the field Because of my desire to succeed, I will bring dedication, punctuality, self-motivation, humility, respect, and work ethic to any team that is willing to give me that opportunity.
