Personal Statement
From the age of 5, I wanted to play football in college. When that special moment came when I first stepped on the field my mentality went from wanted to play in college to I have to play in college. This dream drove me all the way though flag football and my tackle football years. Even with other sports I have the drive pushing me telling me that, I need to do this 110% because it will aid me in football.
When I was playing in fifth grade my coach used the phrase “no pass no play” since then whenever I get home, I am tired and don’t want to do my homework. I repeat that phrase to myself and push myself do my homework. I Keep good grades in school, I know me doing well in school will assist me in football.
With everything I do I try to make my parents proud. I will do anything for them because they do anything for me. If I am thinking about doing something that could get me in trouble, I think about how my parents would react. So I don’t do unintelligent things that will get me in serious trouble.
I would be greatly honored if I was chosen to play football for any college. I believe all the things mentioned will help me in my college football life, as well as life beyond college. I won’t get in trouble, I will keep my grades up and will make everyone in my life proud !
