I feel blessed to be able to play a sport that I love because it has taught me so much about hard work and I believe that it has prepared me for whatever life has in store. Although, I had to wait my turn to behind a very talented Senior class last year, I made the most of my opportunities. When our first team running back went down with an injury last year, I established myself as a starter and earned 2nd Team All-District.
I have worked hard, and after becoming a State qualifier in the 110 hurdles in the Spring, I enter my Senior year as my team’s leading rusher and scorer. My teammates and coaches have chosen me as one of the Team Captains, and I hope to be able to help lead my team to a great year.
I am a hard worker, and I will do what it takes to help my team be the very best. I know that I have what it takes to make it to the next level!
