My love for softball started at the tiny age of 3 years old sitting in the bleachers watching my aunt play ball. As soon as I was old enough to be on a team, my journey and love for the game grew. In the early years of my playing I would have considered my self the underdog. I was always the smallest on my team and not the best by any means. Fortunately, I have had some great coaches and team mates who have pushed me over the years to not only be better physically, but have taught me to be mentally tough, the importance of academics, and just to be an overall better team mate and person.
I want to compete at the collegiate level because, by the grace of God, he blessed me with a huge growth spirt and physically I think I can. But also I have this desire and hunger in my heart to always want to be better, work harder, learn more, and be successful. I want to learn from the best and play with the best at a level that only a collegiate athlete can experience.
