JD Johnson '24 Recruiting Profile

Ultimately, throughout college, I plan on studying Criminal Justice as a potential Pre-law student.  That is the dream plan as I look towards my college career and beyond.  In the midst of that I want to do what I have a passion for--football!  I have been playing since I could run onto a field at 4 years old.  There is great joy and pride in being apart of a team that strives together pressing on towards common goals.  I am extremely coachable with a desire and dedication for excellence on the field, in practice, and in the area of academics.  One motto that I tend to lean on is, "Discipline without direction is drudgery."  There are so many times that the discipline of the workout, the class, or the life situation would be overwhelming without the direction or the end goal in mind.  Right now, my goal is to be a part of a football team at a reputable school while I earn my degree.  I have been a leader on my teams through both Junior and Senior High school.  This past season I had the unspoken role of the teammate who encouraged excellence and got the team pumped up for the battle!
