Chris Bates '16 Recruiting Profile

Chris Bates 17 yrs. old and I love being in the trenches. I come from a solid home of love and support. My Strength comes from my parents who have been together for over 28 years. They have been there supporting me in everything I do. I have been playing the Left Tackle position since I was four years old. I have a little sister who is my best friend, so I have been a protector in same way shape or form since she was born. My teammates are my second family, they are always there for me as I am always there for them. I might not be the fastest player in the world but I don’t ever quit. I am very hard worker and love being in the team atmosphere. I don’t keep up with stats I just go and do my job. I have played in multiple offensive systems and I am very versatile. I am a very dedicated and hard worker at everything I do, it is this characteristic that sets me apart from the rest of the pack. I have a very goal oriented personality and strive to get my goal as soon as I can. This mentality allows me to overcome obstacles in my life and achieve what I want.  I try to set an example for my teammates to follow with my hard work and dedication. I am going to be the first male in my family to graduate college. It is my responsibility to maximize the abilities I have been given and set myself on a life course where I can make a contribution and accomplish great things in my community.
