I've grown up playing several sports; one every season and sometimes they overlap. Football, Wrestling, Baseball and ice hockey. I love them all but my passion is and has always been football. I am grateful for the opportunity to play all of these sports because it helped me find my true passion and talent, not to mention teaching me how to manage my time.
My family has moved several times through the years, from Texas to Wisconsin and back to Texas. These changes have given me opportunities to meet new people and show my talent to coaches that ultimately led me to earning spots on their team. I had to work harder being the "new" kid on the block. This has ultimately increased my work ethic on and off the field.
As the oldest of three boys, I realize I'm a role model to my brothers. I enjoy spending time with them and voluntarily drive them to middle school each day before I head to school. I was lucky this past season of JV hockey to play on the same team as my middle brother. Being on the team with him made the season more fun and rewarding. While we don't always get along, moments like these are ones I will cherish forever.
I am now working at a pizza place on top of school and sports. I have learned to balance my time to be able to achieve my athletic and academic goals. Through all of the change in my life, playing multiple sports and being a big brother, I am truly a well-rounded athlete and leader. I believe I have the talent to compete on your team and the ability to be a leader from the moment I step on your field!
